Split Keypad Prepaid Single Phase Electricity Meter with CIU

A split keyboard means that the electricity meter is equipped with a separate user interface unit (CIU).

So what is CIU? Customer Interface Unit (CIU), is offered to enter recharge tokens and information by short codes. A communication module will be installed in CIU to facilitate users to check the use status, recharge or query the information they want to know at any time when the electricity meter is elsewhere and users cannot reach or touch inconvenient places.To do this, you just need to enter the corresponding broken code on the CIU keyboard.However, there is only one corresponding CIU for each user's electricity meter, and their table number is corresponding to facilitate the information exchange between each other.Avoid interference between two users who are close to each other and have the same CIU number when sending messages.Therefore, if the User's CIU is lost or damaged, it will be a trouble to replace it with a new CIU. The manufacturer needs to re-install the CIU with the corresponding table number and reset it.These operations down, will take a lot of time, and will incur some costs.Therefore, attention should be paid to the use of CIU to avoid damage and loss.

●Prepaid & post-paid switch:meter can be switched to prepaid mode or post-paid mode.

●Measurement function:user can measure the electricity consumption,the credits,etc.

●TOU Tariff:utilities can set step price on request.

●Event recording:meter can record the tamper event, open cover event, purchase event and TOKENS.

●Self-testing:meter has a self-test function, it can test LCD and relay etc. and report the results directly.

●Anti-tamper:meter will automatically close the valve after detection of magnetic field and cover-opening event.

●Overdraft Collection:electricity Overdraft can be collected day by day or month by month.

●Communication:the meter is available with AMI system through LORA RF or Bluetooth 4.0 on request.

●Load control function:meter can be programmed for load control threshold, If the current power is more than threshold. The meter will cut off user load.

●Information Inquiry:consumer could check the data like credit remain, total purchased and total credit by inputting the short code.
